A step up in pace and intensity, and definitely not for first-timers. Expect a varied and challenging workout with more functional progressions and an emphasis firmly on effort and results.
Danilo Caruso
Originally from the beautiful island of Sicily, Danilo has been a devotee of sport and exercise since (almost) as long as he could walk.

He began at just 3 years old, practicing Judo with his Aunt (a multiple world champion) and then trying has hand at a variety of sports before discovering dance at 14.

Danilo’s hobby became his profession, as he passed the audition for one of the most prestigious arts universities in Europe, Codarts, in Holland, before moving to the UK, where he graduated from the Northern School of Contemporary Dance. (As a Postgraduate, he also won the prize for best achievement of the year in 2012.)

After his graduation Danilo worked as a professional dancer for a number of leading national and international choreographers. He danced as lead performer for the National Theatre, as well performing at the Royal Opera House and Sadler’s Wells, both in London and in their UK tours.

He has always used Pilates as a base for his training, having discovered that it was the most efficient way to prevent injuries. After gaining his Matt Pilates qualification, he decided to combine his Pilates knowledge with the benefits of his dance experience and understanding of body awareness, muscle isolation and proprioception by teaching Pilates to professional dancers.

Danilo’s passion to share his knowledge and insights with a wider audience led him to join the Training team at Ten.

He likes a laugh, loves parks, nice walks, a good book, photography and of course mamma’s cooking.

No prior experience is necessary for this class; a basic level of fitness is helpful but not essential. Clients are introduced to the equipment, techniques and some basic exercises. Recommended as your first class with Ten or for those of you who would like to practice at a gentler pace - though it's still more than enough of a workout to get those all important endorphins going.

Molly MacLennan
Originally from Scotland, Molly moved to London at 17 to attend dance school, where she earned a BA Honours in Musical Theatre/Dance. Throughout her life, she has always had a deep passion for movement and sport, and she is dedicated to inspiring that same enthusiasm in others.

During her time at dance school, Molly was introduced to Mat Pilates, which was part of the daily curriculum before Ballet classes. It was here that she first discovered the practice, and as trained dancers, the sessions were highly focused on core strength, often with an emphasis on rehabilitation and injury prevention.

After graduating, Molly chose to pursue a career in the fitness industry rather than performing. She earned her Mat Pilates qualification, followed by her Reformer Pilates certification, deepening her expertise and passion for the practice.

Molly’s classes are designed to guide and motivate individuals to improve themselves through a focus on great technique, strength building, and flexibility. She emphasises the importance of controlling flexibility by strengthening the core, helping students achieve balance and stability in their movements.

Outside of work, Molly stays active through running and is currently training for her first half marathon in 2025. She also enjoys long walks, exploring local markets, and is always up for a good chit chat.

Adding a Jumpboard to our Reformers brings plyometric and cardio benefits to Dynamic Pilates. This is an unapologetically demanding workout, so expect to sweat, and feel your legs (and lungs) burning.

Lorena Jiménez Opayome
Originally from Bogota, Colombia Lorena’s interest in Physiotherapy began as a high school cheerleader, where she realised the importance of making sports both safe and enjoyable. This motivated her to pursue a degree in Physiotherapy in Colombia, where she graduated with honors and received a scholarship for academic excellence.

Throughout her career in Colombia, she gained experience working with a variety of populations, including professional tennis players, orthopaedic rehabilitation at the largest military hospital in the country, and in the ICU of one of the most complex hospitals in the nation. She has continued to expand her expertise with further qualifications, including certifications in Pilates, Kinesio taping, and a diploma in respiratory care for critical patients with AHA certification.

Additionally, she completed a Master’s degree in Health Management, enhancing her understanding of healthcare systems. In 2019, she moved to Shanghai, where she worked for four years and discovered her passion for teaching. This led her to relocate to London, where she now combines her clinical expertise with her enthusiasm for education. Her goal is to continue making a positive impact on the health and well-being of people through physiotherapy and education.

Pilates resonates with Lorena’s philosophy about the human body and movement. She believes in the importance of training the body to create a broad range of movement variability, which doesn’t necessarily mean performing complex or advanced exercises. In fact, she believes in mastering the basics first, which creates a solid foundation for more complex and dynamic movements later.

For some, this idea of focusing on simplicity can seem boring or repetitive. However, Pilates proves that even the most basic movements can be transformed into challenging exercises through careful attention and intention. Every day, she sees how the smallest adjustments in alignment or focus can turn a seemingly simple movement into a powerful and effective one. Pilates aligns perfectly with this belief by emphasising control, precision, and mindful movement, which are essential for both injury prevention and improving overall function.

In her classes, participants can expect a strong focus on form and progression through layers. She begins with the basics, ensuring that they have a solid understanding before moving on to more advanced exercises. Once they’re ready, she safely builds on that foundation to elevate their practice.

Above all, she values movement variability. Her goal is to prepare her students to move confidently in different environments and situations while helping them feel safe and comfortable in their bodies. She wants them to feel empowered to keep moving, knowing that they have the strength and stability to do so with ease.

As a Colombian, dancing holds a special place in her heart, with salsa being her favourite style. She also loves to learn and explore new things, whether it’s singing, playing the piano, learning new languages, or writing.

Katy Wiltshire
Studying sports therapy at university, Katy has had a range of placement experiences doing soft tissue therapy and massage. This ranges from physiotherapy clinics to elite sport! With this founding knowledge of anatomy and musculoskeletal injury, Katy is here to help with any restrictions, imbalances, or pain caused from an existing or previous injury including post-op scar recovery.

No matter who the person is, Katy is a firm believer of a holistic assessment and targeting the body as a whole… Chances are, if you’re struggling in one area of the body, it’s influencing somewhere else too!

Coming from a dance background and now training in both pilates and yoga, Katy is eager to help with posture, flexibility, and mobility work. She has also gone on to do further training in women’s health, including pre and postnatal massage and soft tissue therapy. Again she takes a holistic viewpoint looking at your lifestyle, pelvic floor activation, and breath work to name a few!

Outside of work you’ll find Katy eager to travel, particularly pretty cities and anywhere she can be by the sea/in nature! Katy loves reading, cozy cafes, or getting back into her love of ballet/dance.

Olivia Lakhina
Olivia’s passion for health and fitness started in her teens. Over time, her lifelong passion for exercise expanded to incorporate her growing interest in the mental as well as physical motivations that drive people towards – or – rom a healthier lifestyle.

Keen to understand more about the psychology of health behaviours, Olivia studied for a BSc in Psychology followed by an MSc in Human Nutrition and further Diploma in the Psychology of Eating.

She began her career as a nutrition and behavioural science research assistant, all the while, practicing Pilates on a daily basis to counteract the long periods of time spent sitting at a desk.

After a hiatus from research, working in high-end hospitality management for three years, Olivia made the decision to combine her love for working in a people-driven environment with her background in health and fitness. She went on to complete her level 3 personal training and Pilates qualifications before coming to Ten.

Olivia’s approach to training is holistic, combining her expertise in fuelling the body optimally with Dynamic Reformer Pilates to help her clients achieve long-term sustainable results. Her classes are welcoming and varied, focusing on form and technique and how her clients feel in their bodies.

When not at the studio, you’ll most likely find Olivia travelling the world, hosting a casual dinner party or trying out a new restaurant, cafe or bar opening in London.

Kristel Teder
Kristel is a qualified yoga and mat Pilates instructor. With a background in figure skating, she believes our bodies were meant to move.

Kristel discovered her love of the reformer in 2017 when she joined Ten as a studio manager. She quickly noticed how regular Reformer Pilates classes complemented her yoga practice.

The increased strength and mobility, mind focus, and the ability to push the boundaries of strength and control are the benefits she credits Reformer Pilates for.

Kristel also loves how Pilates encourages us to remain grounded and revisit how we “learnt to move”. Her goal in class is to challenge you to discover new strengths. She will also encourage you to leave your comfort zone and come out stronger on all levels.

Amy Hall
Amy connected with Pilates during her professional dance training where Pilates was implimented into the morning routine for injury preventation, rehabilitation, strength and postural focus. Within weeks the progression was noticable and Pilates allowed Amy to train 5 days a week safely and with confidence. These benefits are what has brought Amy into a clinical setting after years of experience in the dance and fitness industries. Amy’s class approach will mesh together the focus on postural alignment, core stability, upper and lower body strength along with creating a fluid sequence of movement to music with stretching and strengthening.

Amy’s love for solo travelling and adventure hand in hand with clinical fitness are the blend that make her passionate about wellness and self awareness of the body and mind (in and out of the studio) and aims to bring this mantra within her classes. Passionate about helping others, providing postural corrections and enhancements, watching personal development 1-1 or in a group and providing a positive learning environment is how Amy tailors her classes. Whether you start as a beginner to the reformer or with handfuls of experience, everyone is welcome to begin their Dynamic Pilates journey at Ten with Amy. You will leave her classes with a greater understanding on the dynamic reformer Pilates approach including anatomy terminology , a strong understanding on breathing- it’s benefits and how to implement it into Pilates and daily life, core stability to use every day out of the studio alongside engagement of muscle groups and the knowledge needed to perform each exercise safely and to your individual range of motion.

The reformer will assist in providing an enjoyable and beneficial workout which can be used for those requiring rehab fitness or likewise for those who want to focus on their core and posture, it really is for anyone!

Tue 17 June5:30pmIntermediate to Advanced - Dynamic Reformer Pilates
An upbeat and energising session, ideal for Intermediate clients keen to try the extra challenge that our Advanced Classes offer, but unsure about what to expect. It’s also a great reintroduction for Advanced clients coming back after some time off. It’s a little slower-paced than a regular Advanced Class (though you’ll still challenge yourself and raise a sweat). We’ll focus on optimal form and technique, along with an introduction to some new advanced level exercises, and next-level progressions of familiar routines.
Weronika Nowaczynska
Weronika started her movement journey at age 7 when she began her ballet and musical theatre training. She continued with various forms of dancing and performance arts until age 20. After sustaining a lot of injuries, she found a new passion for Pilates and Yoga, which helped her to return to pain free movement and turned out to be extremely enjoyable too!

She loves sharing her passion for movement with others and believes everyone can move better, given the individual approach and tips that they need. Weronika is interested in a holistic approach to training, especially the mind-body connection and how it affects performance. In her classes she tries to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere and is always eager to support and help her students grow.

After a hiatus from research, working in high-end hospitality management for three years, Olivia made the decision to combine her love for working in a people-driven environment with her background in health and fitness. She went on to complete her level 3 personal training and Pilates qualifications before coming to Ten.

In her spare time, Caitlin enjoys going for walks, attending Pilates classes and practising yoga at home. She believes it’s important to maintain a healthy work-life balance in which she reflects into her practice. Caitlin looks forward to bringing a unique approach to health & fitness.
