Tue 17 June11:00amBeginners to Intermediate - Dynamic Reformer Pilates Transition Class
For anyone who’s been taking Beginners classes for a while and is thinking about stepping up to Intermediates, but may be a little nervous about the transition or unsure if they are ready. Slower paced than a normal Intermediate class, you’ll learn how familiar exercises are transformed into an intermediate progression. It's also the ideal environment to get to grips with some of the new and more challenging exercises you’ll encounter.
Alice Comerford
Alice is a fitness and music enthusiast from North London with a background in swimming & dance. Her passion for movement and performance eventually led her to Pilates, where she discovered a love for its unique combination of strength, control, and mindfulness. Now, she’s dedicated to sharing the transformative benefits of Pilates with others.

Alice discovered Pilates while looking for a way to complement her swimming & dance background and build strength and balance. She was drawn to its unique combination of control, alignment, and mindfulness. Pilates quickly became a core part of her life, providing the perfect blend of physical challenge and mental focus. Now, Alice is passionate about sharing the transformative power of Pilates with others.

Alice’s teaching style is dynamic, supportive, and inclusive. She focuses on helping clients build strength, improve alignment, and connect with their bodies. Her classes are thoughtfully structured, starting with a warm-up, progressing through targeted exercises for the upper and lower body, and finishing with a cool-down.

Clients often mention Alice’s calming voice, which helps create a relaxed and focused atmosphere in her sessions. Combined with clear instructions and tailored modifications, she ensures that everyone feels both challenged and comfortable, whether they’re new to Pilates or refining their skills.

When Alice isn’t teaching Pilates, she’s likely immersed in music. As a singer she spends her time performing, creating, and sharing her journey. She also enjoys staying active through other activities, such as swimming or trying out new fitness classes.

Alice’s favourite exercise is the plank to pike on the reformer, she loves how it challenges core strength, control, and flexibility, helping to build the same endurance and stability. This exercise is a regular feature in her classes, leaving clients feeling strong, accomplished, and deeply connected to their bodies.
